尊敬的黨員黨友：

各位好！有賴各支部與秘書處的迅速安排，我走訪支部和聆聽黨員意見的進展順利。在過往一週，我已與三十五名黨員及黨友會面、溝通，我會繼續安排更多有助維繫和凝聚黨員的工作。

一個政黨能夠持續地保持活力、成功，其組織的策略須保持透明和互相尊重。

公民黨的兄弟姊妹無時無刻都展示我們對文明政治的執著，在黨內的所有組織層面皆以開放、理性、慎思的方式去溝通互動。簡單而言，我的想法包括三個要素：

  • 我們以尊重、嚴肅的態度待人；
  • 我們彼此間秉持開放和坦誠的處事態度；
  • 我們就重要的議題及黨的發展定期進行溝通。

此外，良好的黨內民主實踐有賴「態度開放、熱心黨務」的黨員。大家可以把握正式的會議或集思會等機會，就許多曾與我或我的同僚提出的事務作更深入和有質素的探討。這些都是黨建設過程的重要部分。

上週我參與了在東涌、九龍灣和鰂魚涌的地區服務及一些社會行動。我希望黨內兄弟姊妹可以感受黨內的關懷、支援和肯定。我亦主動提出參與天水圍、葵涌、元朗和大埔於農曆新年期間的活動。各位，若有我能夠幫得上忙的地方，歡迎隨時通知我！

公民黨網站需要與時並進，和加強功能。為此，我們已承諾提供足夠的協助讓所有地區支部、政策支部、青年公民、英語組及我們的地區主任就更新網站的項目提出及意見，請大家踴躍參與。

我得警惕自己不要自我感覺良好。正如我曾在不同場合指出，我不愛單打獨鬥，政黨發展要求團隊精神和分工合作。我可依靠的最強和最寶貴的支援就是每一位關心黨的黨員黨友、為民主與社會公義的奮鬥中肝膽相照的民間夥伴，以及一個充滿關愛的家庭。
