你大我呀、You big me?!
見網上有人玩英文，把「你大我呀」直譯”Are you bigging me?”。淨係玩，也無傷大雅，但玩的同時也要知道正規講法。這番「大」，來自玩撲克（poker）啤牌遊戲，亦叫「沙蟹」（音譯自show hand），等於「你拋我浪頭」。
你大我呀？Are you bluffing me? You’re bluffing me?
Bluff 解「作大」、虛張聲勢。
Are you trying to bluff me off? 你想（大我）來嚇走我？
轉一轉語氣，把問號改做句號或感嘆號，英文亦改說︰
You’re bluffing me. 你（作大）來大我啫。
You’re bluffing me! 你（想）大我！
一場「熱鬧」得很的特首選舉，當中也有好些「你大我呀」的場景，候選人說的類似意思一句話， 是「係我主場！ 」， “This is my home ground!”，指根據辯論守則，這是「我的地頭/ 時間範圍」，叫對方停止插口，不准「大」我。
回說bluff，這個字有弄虛作假兼恐嚇的成分，但如果認為對方既不假，亦沒有亂嚇的企圖，實情就是擺明車馬來「大」你︰
You’re raising the stakes? 你加碼來大我？ 加碼，即加重落注。
To raise 是提升、增加；stakes 是籌碼、股份。（Stakeholder，中文之謂「持份者」。）
You’re raising the stakes (against me)？ 後面against me（對付我），雙方都明，所以可以删去。
不想用raise，用字「潮」一點，可改以up 做動詞︰
You’re upping the stakes？你大我？To raise/ up the stakes，除了直接指在賭桌上加重賭注，日常生活借用解作任何「加碼」、增加風險的情况， to increase in importance or danger。
He upped his stakes by taking his case to court.他把他的個案訴諸法庭，增加了事件的重要性或風險。
但現代隨口一句up the stakes，是叫人就手頭的事加倍努力，put more effort into what you’re doing。
You want to get that girl, you need to up the stakes. 你想追到那個女孩，就要加倍努力了。
