卑鄙是卑鄙者的通行證
有時，感情到了極端激烈的時候，理論、分析、政治、法律的語言都變成唐突和不足夠。這時唯有詩。而詩翻譯成另一種文字，如同創新一樣，可以讓我們加倍感受一次。今天，又到了這個時候。我這孤陋寡聞的人，第一次透過高手的翻譯，看到朦朧派詩人北島著名的《回答》，即使冒着文抄公的惡名，也要在這裏抄一次，推薦讀者反覆重讀兩個語文的表達：「卑鄙是卑鄙者的通行證，╱高尚是高尚者的墓誌銘。╱看吧，在那鍍金的天空中，╱飄滿了死者彎曲的倒影。╱冰川紀過去了，為什麼到處都是冰凌？╱好望角發現了，為什麼死海裏千帆相競？╱我來到這個世界上╱只帶着紙，繩索和身影╱為了在審判之前╱宣讀那些被判决了的聲音╱告訴你吧，世界╱我—不—相—信！╱縱使你腳下有一千名挑戰者，那就把我算做第一千零一名。」
