事情是這樣的，97年大廈轉了物業管理公司，定下每五年一次重新選大廈維修承辦商，管理公司會邀請承辦商入標，再交由法團自行投票決定。聽起來沒有不妥當，但原來管理合約及公契十分奇怪，列明法團絕大部分的委員須由管理公司委任，只有極少數的委員是由業主投票選出。

而更甚者，那些入標的承辦商其實是管理公司的附屬子公司，另外小業主亦發現那些被管理公司委任的法團委員，經常收受中標承辦商所提供的利益。如此的貪污舞弊從中取利，令大廈的居住質素每況愈下，令一眾業主叫苦連天，業主變苦主。

身為小業主的你當然抗議投訴，一於反對到底，要求自己標書自己㨂，抗議圍標，要有真正的選擇。經年累月的談判爭取反反覆覆，最後管理公司承諾會在2017年可以以一戶一票的方式選出承辦商。正當大家興高彩烈之際，今天管理公司貼出通告，入標公司必須要經過法團一半的委員提名，最終篩選出二至三間承辦商給業主以一戶一票選出，不過，法團組成方式維持不變。有票，你真係唔要？
