徵收垃圾費？
一直聽有深水埗的基層老人投訴：我連吃都不夠吃，政府話要收我垃圾費？聞者惻然。
環保議題，都與政治掛鈎。大如減碳指數、保護海洋，固然考驗一個政府的魄力與信心，但「小」如徵收垃圾費，因為更貼身，也就更反映一個社會對當權者的信任及支持度。記得嗎，早年國際金融風暴，韓國的婦女會自動拿出金飾金幣金條，獻給國庫；而首爾，也正是每家每戶最小心翼翼把廚餘分類、方便公共回收再造的城市之一。
照計，收垃圾費的原則，是污者自付，要少付一點，就一起珍惜資源，減少浪費。但這話由本地草根家庭聽來，該就諷刺。香港的貧富懸殊，見堅尼系數榜上排名， 不時舉世數一數二。當然，本市或就考慮豁免綜援網中人的垃圾費？卻是，率先牽涉的行政審查人力物力之龐大，想想都令人頭痛。香港，要好好斟酌此事。
