如林鄭月娥所言，香港的疫苗接種條件齊備，無論在疫苗供應、方便的接種地點、資訊發放等各方面都相當優勝。但現實是本周二她見記者時，疫苗接種率僅百分之六。

接種率低，林鄭有份促成。過去三個月，她回應香港人對國產疫苗無信心、不踴躍接種的問題，就重複說「不要扯上政治」、「非政治化」。政府疫苗顧問專家許樹昌醫生受林鄭感染，當復興疫苗抵港時記者問他會否接種，是一條十分正常的提問，他卻反應過敏地說「私人問題唔好政治化」。

他們有否察覺，越強調「非政治化」，效果反而是提醒市民從「政治」角度思考或理解特區政府的每個動作。例如，為何初期市民唯一選擇是國產疫苗科興？為何政府有意無意淡化長者接種疫苗風險？公共衛生本應立足科學，林鄭卻滲入太多政治，壞了事；所以當她歸咎一些人包括醫護人員散播失實資訊導致市民不信任國產疫苗時，就更加有諉過於人的觀感。

M+博物館展覽艾未未作品遭黨媒連日批鬥，林鄭的回應是「如有一些文化工作跟國家安全法有衝突，甚至會違反了國家安全法一些條文，當然要嚴肅認真處理。」

香港在過去一世紀本就是中外文化交流之地，林鄭現在卻煞有介事地說，中央支持香港發展為「中外文化交流中心」，實在諷刺。「支持」二字，其實包含審查之意。在香港，就算討厭政治只想欣賞文化藝術過正常生活，愈來愈難。
