政．戲．伊人 – 「多謝主席」
擔任立法會議員快有兩年，但自問仍是議會新丁。立法會議事規則和程序多多，雖然已熟習了大部分規矩，但有時候仍會犯上低級錯誤，有如英格蘭門將格連將球溜進網窩一樣。
話說上星期，小女子擔任《2010年郊野公園(指定)(綜合)(修訂)令》草案委員會主席，即是我兩年來首次主持會議。適逢當日會議為公聽會，不少團體均派代表出席發言，主席的工作就是負責介紹出席團體，控制與會者及其他議員的發言時間，確保會議得以順利進行。
我心想：「當過無數次司儀，擔任主席該難不到我吧。」起初也相安無事，但到我總結發言時就出事了！一般而言，議員發言後總會以：「多謝主席」作結，以示尊重。誰不知我竟然溜出了一句：「多謝主席」，忘記了自己的身份本就是主席！怎會有主席公開多謝自己的呢？結果眾人哄堂大笑，真是「醜死怪」！
其實當主席並不簡單，整個會議都要非常專注，留心議員發言之餘，又要忍得，人有三急都盡量忍一忍，並要熟讀議事規則和規程。失言後，我頓時明白「多謝主席」這番話的意義，其實，這不應是形式上的感謝，而應發自內心。
真心的說句：「多謝主席！」
