政．戲．伊人 – 我們不是提款機
近年幾乎所有大型工程的造價都和預期出現落差。以三大鐵路工程為例：高鐵、西港島?和南港島?工程造價升值總和超過500億，遠遠超出政府原來預 算。南港島?造價上漲近五成，建造成本高達100億。年初的高鐵就由本來的300億大幅上漲至669億、正進行工程的西港島?亦由89億上升至154億。 升幅由四成至一倍不等，數字可謂相當驚人。
政府向立法會申請撥款，通過後突然大幅漲價，立法會議員也無可奈何。但我和許多市民一樣，不禁會懷疑：「預算超支真的會這麼嚴重嗎？」還是政府提交撥款申請時，刻意將數字減低，以增加通過的機會？
我實在懷疑現時的特區政府，和好大喜功的秦隋時代沒有多大分別，申辦亞運要400多億、強行通過的高鐵又要近700億，還有添馬艦政府總部和甚麼十大基建。我不是否定基建的成效，也非阻發展商和工人發達。
不過，政府一面以資源不足為由，而拒絕落實小班教學、扶貧和回購兩隧，一面卻窮奢極侈的舉辦盛事和興建大白象。樂此不疲為自己臉上貼金之舉，實在難以平復民憤。
政府大量撥入資源於基建，又不善預算的嚴重超支。市民實在有種肉隨砧板上的感覺，氣憤難下！我們實在需要一個答覆和交代。因為公帑並不是源源不絕的提款機。
