政．戲．伊人 – 民意耳邊風 霸王硬上弓
政府宣布決定支持申辦2023年亞洲運動會，德成局長更在記者會上明言說要讓政黨看看民意。要看民意的，應該是局長自己吧！根據政府委託中大進行的民意調查結果，無論在政府宣布減低申亞開支，或是廣州舉辦亞運會前後，贊成和反對申亞的民意在扣除誤差率後，只能說是平分春色。也就是說，香港並沒有支持申辦亞運的主流民意，但局長卻將此演繹成香港人支持申亞。
根基不穩的樓宇，危樓是也。亞運不是只有2023年一屆的，香港一直缺乏長遠的體育政策，現在連基本體育政策及設施都未做好的時候，硬要申辦大型運動會，結果已可預見，必定像東亞運一樣，錯誤連連，亦有機會成為國際大笑話。我多次強調，民政事務局於2002年發表的《生命在於運動》體育政策檢討小組報告書中，多項建議仍未落實，甚至「影都無」的時候，現在是否一個適合申亞的時機呢？
今次政府決定申亞，明顯是故意將申亞的責任推向立法會，硬要將申亞與本港未來的體育設施捆綁在一起。視民意作耳邊風，霸王硬上弓，逆民意而行，負責的政府官員必須承擔因此而帶來的一切政治後果。
