政．戲．伊人 – 還你們公道！
立法會正就議員助理薪酬進行討論，助理人工低、前景黯淡的問題一一浮現。議會事務繁重，議員助理扮演分擔議員擔子的重要角色，除了撰寫文稿外，又要處理申訴、研究政策和公關事務等工作。然而，助理薪酬與工作量和性質並不成正比，令人洩氣。
每 年實報實銷津貼的升幅實在是少得可憐，以上年度為例，升幅只有1.9%。163萬的津貼實在不夠，除員工薪金外，還要用於地辦開支、社區活動等，不少議員 甚至要自掏腰包。議員助理人工有多少？答案是大部分都是由一萬至二萬元不等。資源緊絀自然難以高薪聘請助理，據立法會秘書處資料顯示，議員助理流失率高達 三成四，年資中位數少於三年。他們工作性質重要，且工時長，但人工卻偏低。加上這行業本身是零晉升機會，亦絕少加薪，那出現極高流失率亦相當正常。
《基本法》強調行政主導，一方面強化行政機關，一方面又刻意矮化立法機關。結果，議員的薪金和辦公室津助嚴重不足，所有助理的薪金總和都遠遠不及政治助理。議員助理和政治助理難以相比，但至少也應為議員助理們爭取合理薪酬。
