自從2014 年雨傘佔領79 天後，政府種種惡行包括假普選方案、DQ 參選者或議員、高鐵割地兩檢等，均未能驅使大量香港人參與遊行表達不滿。也許中共和林鄭政府的如意算盤，是乘公民社會弱勢成就「一國一制」。

4．28 反惡法遊行上街的13 萬人中，有對上一次遊行已是2003 年或是1989 年的，甚至有從未曾參加過遊行的。《逃犯條例》修訂更為切身固然是理由，但更可能是政府推動修法的手段無賴所致。
林鄭消費陳同佳案死者家屬的傷痛，利用港人公義惻隱之心以達把港人「送中」政治目的，手段卑劣令人齒冷。內地法律服務政治，明白是港人免受害於該制度的保護罩被說成漏洞；明白是特首實際可以隻手遮天的安排被說成法院可以有效把關。當謊言被戳破，港人對騙子的反彈也來得特別強烈！就連人大政協、「愛國商人」都明言信不過內地司法制度。
林鄭回應4．28 遊行，硬要把香港人的不滿說成對修法的不理解。對民意的輕視、推行惡法的剛愎自用，與2003 年時任特首董建華對50 萬人遊行的反應，又或當年保安局長葉劉淑儀的「麥當勞侍應和的士司機不會明白」論何其相似。
香港人應該借鑑2003 年經驗，繼續站出來，要求議員（尤其是商界）反對修例、林鄭撤回草案。也許，林鄭與中共會繼續充耳不聞，但至少，香港人已經走出來，讓世界看見，我們捍衛人權自由法治的心未死！
