汽車熄匙後的空調 余若薇

停車熄匙終於在這個冬天實施，理工大學及生產力促進局研發了分別使用太陽能或混合燃料停車熄匙後的輔助空調系統，以便吸引職業司機安裝，於夏天時避免在停車熄匙後要在車廂內承受「焗桑拿」之苦。研究人員上周專誠把示範車輛駛進立法會大樓，小巴車頂裝上太陽能發電板，很有環保汽車的感覺。

停車而仍有空調，技術上是可行的，但問題是有多少車主願意投放資源，安裝這些新系統？研究人員估計，每套系統的費用介乎2至12萬元。職業司機要求政府直接資助，政府則指可循綠色運輸試驗基金申請撥款。

不過，基本撥款有限，不能資助所有用家，而沒有足夠用家，費用亦不會下調。要推廣這新環保產品，唯有政府車輛先行試用，增加消費者的信心。
