沙螺洞告急！
上周初，沙螺洞骨灰龕場計劃環評報告成功闖過環境諮詢委員會環評小組一關。小組內地球之友和長春社成員反對，但寡不敵眾，報告最終獲通過。待環諮會大會下次會議確認，環保署署長就會批出環境許可證。涉地4.1公頃4座6萬個骨灰龕位的工程將可上馬，沙螺洞的蜻蜓、螢火蟲、河溪生態和鄉郊風貌危在旦夕。
地球之友估計春秋二祭，每小時60架車駛入，帶來噪音和空氣滋擾。為此擴闊道路，林蔭大道兩旁670棵樹，有近半要被斬，批評項目是「未保育，先破壞」。
此計劃是前政府唯一認可的公私營合作項目，但計劃備受非議，令人質疑2004年新自然保育政策提出的公私營合作項目，是否假保育真破壞？新政府登場，考驗他們會否像落馬洲支線一役，懸崖勒馬，守護郊野。
