法政隨筆 – 幼兒也靜坐 余若薇

上星期日攝氏34 度烈日當空，一群家長與幼兒在立法會門外靜坐，之後遊行到發展商大昌集團總部的香港會所大廈，貼上心意卡，要求與身兼大昌主席的嶺南教育機構主席陳斌對話，商討嶺南遷校事宜，再到政府總部請願。

汗流浹背的示威者明顯是第一次參加這類集會，召集人忘記口號要提場，人群中有外籍傭工幫少主打扇餵水，不少家長是專業人士，也有資深公務員，平日星期天應與孩子到會所喫飯歎茶、逛冷氣mall，為何要在立法會外暴曬，聲嘶力竭地喊口號？

事緣孩子就讀的著名嶺南幼稚園及小學突然在6 月通知家長9 月要搬校，藉口是5月新鴻基高價投得鄰近地皮要發展，恐防殃及校舍，新鴻基澄清未有動工日期，不會影響鄰居；7 月校方改說校舍有僭建物，屋宇署亦澄清沒即時危險，但校方依然堅持明年1 月要搬。家長擔心校方覬覦校舍坐落地皮的發展潛力，砌詞搬校，陳斌看好當區地產發展，有可尋，今年5 月競投鄰近那幅地皮，不過敗於新鴻基。

天下哪有父母不顧子女安全？百年字號嶺南哪有不與家長商量便倉卒搬校？家長多是有知識有辦法人士，只不過要求對話，延後到學期完結才遷校，但扭盡六壬叩盡門都不得要領，最後被迫靜坐。事件令我想起美孚新中產屋苑小業主，要身在推土機下阻止地產商在他們家門前興建屏風樓，地產霸權無處不在。
