法政隨筆 – 阿凡達 湯家驊

聖誕節期間，朋友嚷着要去看《阿凡達》。也沒有弄清楚這是一齣甚麼的電影，便也湊熱鬧一同去看。儘管電影的特技製作確是很先進，但故事本身卻並不是那麼新穎，與多年前的《與狼共舞》如出一轍，兩者皆是以煽情的手法，引發觀眾那種鋤強扶弱，為正義而戰的英雄心態。站在正義和弱者的一邊，當然永遠是對的，亦是這電影故事的賣點。《阿凡達》和《與狼共舞》的分別只在於前者有強勢的一方試圖尋求妥協的小節和最終仍是正義戰勝濫權的大團圓收場，而後者只着重描繪侵略者恃勢凌人的悲慘結局。在現實生活中，真正的結局很可能是在兩者之間。同樣地，欺凌者也不一定是有權勢的人。

很多人看罷《阿凡達》也許會聯想到菜園村的故事。但這以強權壓迫弱者的比喻又何嘗不適用於今天港人爭取民主的處境？稍有不同的地方只是在《阿凡達》戲中，無權者是萬眾一心、團結一致的。但今天的民主派卻正在演活了「本是同根生，相煎何太急？」的悲劇。元旦日爭取普選大遊行期間，社民連及其支持者不斷高叫羞辱民主黨的口號，令所有心繫民主的人聽得心如刀割。大家都是弱者，為何還要在弱者之間再求分類，尋找分野？自視孤注一擲為有勇氣、有承擔的表現，沒有什麼不妥，但有沒有需要把不同意見者打壓為懦弱甚至出賣民主的叛徒，以壯一己的聲勢？這是多麼的可悲！

從另一個角度看，《阿凡達》也是民主派內部分裂的縮影。以偏激言行責難意見不同的盟友，何嘗不是恃勢凌人的表現？如果這便是新民主運動，我們還有甚麼希望？
