沙田穗禾苑維修招標，有三個「方案」讓居民選擇：2.2億元、3億元和4.6億元，恰巧業主立案法團顧問是一位民建聯成員，聲稱為工程撰寫報告的顧問公司的去留由居民投票決定，不過，事前聘請顧問公司所花的236萬元，應該就會去如流水了。

自從政府實施強制驗樓以來，業主多要聘用顧問公司負責工程技術及維修招標等事項，問題是過程往往欠缺透明度，譬如招標過程、挑選中標公司的衡量準則、各維修細項目的實際金額等，法團未必會向業主清楚交代。去年幾千萬元的維修費已是天價，今年網上流傳銅鑼灣伊利沙伯大廈的維修費要1.2億元，接着到沙田翠湖花園要2.6億元，如今沙田穗禾苑竟然超過四億元。

業主們話就話能夠一人一票選擇維修方案，但最後都要肉隨砧板上。咦，怎麼這個橋段熟口熟面，不就是跟一班高官落區宣傳的政改方案一樣嗎？

政府宣傳這個政改方案，標榜是一人一票選特首，實情是由1,200人組成的提委會選出兩至三個候選人，才讓全港市民從當中選一個，無論那兩至三個候選人有多不堪，你還是得揀一個，最後更要你摷荷包埋天價的單，就像穗禾苑那些揀無可揀的天價維修方案，逼小業主硬啃一樣。
