律政司長鄭若驊潛水半個月，昨日終於現身，回應律政司不起訴她和梁振英二事。
律政司12 月12 日發表一份兒戲聲明，稱無足夠證據，不起訴UGL 事件中收取了5000 萬元的前特首、現任政協副主席梁振英，而律政司並無為此案尋求外間獨立法律意見。
但凡涉案人身分敏感例如胡仙、許仕仁、曾蔭權、梁錦松等，律政司總是基於「正義不僅要伸張，還須彰顯於人前」的法治基本原則，在決定檢控與否前尋求外間獨立法律意見。律政司處理鄭若驊寓所僭建案，都有問過外間法律意見。
鄭若驊昨日為了自圓其說，無恥地違背上述重要原則。她說，當涉案人是律政司同事，涉利益衝突，才需要外間獨立法律意見。
她亦無回應公眾對律政司12 月12日聲明的種種質疑。聲明內容根本站不住腳，稱「證據未能確立戴德梁行不同意梁振英接受這些款項」，這句子相當取巧，迴避了環境證據，例如戴德梁行股東為何甘願少收UGL 5000萬元而送給梁振英。此外，5000 萬元是梁就任特首後收取的，律政司以不涉利益衝突為由認為梁毋須向行政會議申報，這是本末倒置，不符利益申報制度的精神，違反常識。有無利益衝突，是由行政會議而非申報者決定。
鄭若驊與丈夫潘樂陶的寓所僭建案，律政司決定起訴潘，不起訴鄭。鄭昨日亦無回應種種質疑，卸落刑事檢控專員身上。鄭強裝理直氣壯，無助修補上述兩案處理手法對法治的傷害。
