無聊問題
特首林鄭月娥在答問會議上一臉不屑說：「我唔答啲咁無聊嘅問題。」令我想起當年任保安局長的葉劉淑儀在廿三條立法草案委員會上，一臉不屑地說涂謹申議員冇禮貌，她不會答涂議員的問題。人到官大就會變得不懂得收起傲慢？其實問題一點也不無聊，何不直接回答？找個得體的答案有幾難？
政府首長有諷刺天才的，也只宜自嘲，不宜嘲諷他人，特別是代表市民的立法機關成員，即使問題真的無聊，議員出身的肥彭精於此道。在最後一次的港督答問會上，有議員問他，歷代港督離任，按照傳統，香港都會命名一些重要公共建設紀念他，但肥彭得罪了那麼多人，他卸任之後，會不會有什麼以他命名？這個問題，分明是揶揄他。可是，機智的肥彭，想了一想，即答道：「彭定康排污系統？」（The Patten SewerageSystem）惹來哄堂大笑，連消帶打。
自喻溝渠，當然是自嘲了，但剛巧他任內政府着重環保，改善排污系統，正是一大建設，論紀念功績，彭定康當之無愧。大概這就是牛津辯論會磨練出來的才華。
沒有辯論才華不要緊，要緊的是尊重議會，尊重市民。每月答問，是林鄭自己提出的加強問責及行政、立法溝通的新猷，不打算答問，旨在侮辱問者，又何必前來？
