狂加電費火燒「家計簿」
日本婦女流行用「家計簿」，每月填入家中各人收入、固定和浮動支出。固定支出包括水、電、煤、電話和房租等；浮動支出則有伙食、置裝、交通和娛樂等。然後計算每月收支狀況，再與前月比較，確保掌握家中財務狀況。
本港師奶如有使用「家計簿」，肯定每月一驚心，隨時失控火燒「家計簿」。政府11月底公布的10月份通脹率是6.4%，並指過去1年，因為私人房屋租金急升和食品通脹高企，通脹率不斷上升，至10月份始見平穩。10月份食品升幅近12%、衣履近10%、住屋逾8%、交通近5%；衣食住行樣樣加！
兩間電力公司最近亦申請大幅加電費，中電提出加9.2%，港燈則加6.3%。據悉港燈原要求加近8%，其後才減至僅低於通脹率的6.3%，而中電則企硬不減。電力公司聲稱大部分住宅用戶只須多付10多20元，但當「家計簿」內各項開支齊齊升「呢」，這一加無疑是百上加斤。用6.4%作通脹指標亦不公道，因為隨着本港經濟放緩，通脹已見頂，物價不再急升；經濟放緩顯示打工仔和小商戶又要過緊日子。年底加薪指標能達到國泰的5%已不容易，中小企更放風只能加2至4%，肯定追不上通脹！
