璀璨與摧殘
夜裏維港的天空線，是人工絕色，號稱世界三大夜景之一。這副璀璨，當然有代價。
港大物理系的一個研究說，尖沙嘴太空館上空的光度，比國際認同的黑暗夜空光度超出逾1,200倍，等於近100支街燈同時照射一個地點。即使偏遠的濕地公園，亦超標100倍；而應該是觀星勝地的西貢天文公園，竟然也超標20倍。
也許，光污染不如噪音或髒空氣之令人有切膚之痛。但應該黑麻麻好好睡一覺的時候，外來的光會令人睡不下，「日子有功」，甚或導致抑鬱。都記得吧，尖沙嘴曾有摩天豪宅的業主，說因為鄰近商業巨廈帶來的光污染，要減租四成招徠。
也都說，人工光線會干擾螢火蟲繁殖、植物開花時間和候鳥遷徙路線等等。大小都會的五光十色，總得適可而止，不讓璀璨變了摧殘。
