環保飛機降臨香港 余若薇

近日一架全新型號的民航客機首航，並以香港為目的地。該款客機以環保為賣點，機身用複合材料，機身和機翼50%使用碳纖維，大大減輕機身重量。機頭機尾採更流線型設計，提高5%氣動力效率。機艙內以發光二極管(LED)取代傳統的螢光管，加上更有效率的飛機引擎，燃料節省20%，二氧化碳及二氧化氮排放量降低20%，降落時發出的噪音減低60%。

飛機排碳量一直備受批評，飛機製造商一直致力設計更低碳更環保的飛機回應全球暖化。飛機的確可以造得更環保，燃料方面也可研究使用生物燃料，但我們不斷增加空運量，再好的技術也追不上人類的貪婪。減少不必要的飛行旅程，中短途旅程轉用地面運輸，多用視像會議和電郵處理商務，才可達致真正的低碳。
