精英僭建特首失職 吳靄儀

新任律政司長鄭若驊資深大律師的僭建風波發展未了，但在追查的過程中，特首林鄭月娥的為政弱點已暴露無遺，過去執法「一視同仁」鐵面無私、「好打得」的神話一朝打破。為何對梁振英敵手唐英年的住宅僭建就從嚴從苛，對自己屬意的鄭若驊就叫公眾「包容」？為何平民百姓忙於生計疏忽拆卸僭建就不能推之曰「忙」，精英「太忙」就是合理辯解？因為再挑剔就更難找到合適人選進「熱廚房」？這與當年梁愛詩檢控員工而放過老闆有何分別？

林鄭大半生做公務員做到高官，理應了解過去高官委任或擢升前的嚴密品格審查，重要作用不但是保障政府不會在不知情的狀况下，因委任人選出了問題而令政府公信力受損，同時也為保障擬委任的人，不會因委任曝光而突然成為輿論攻擊對象。林鄭若真正珍惜人才難得，就應謹慎處理委任過程，做妥一切應有準備，有什麼可能引起公眾疑慮之事都先行處理，為何竟倉卒若此？袁國強不肯久留，難道找個署任司長也找不到？還是林鄭自視過高，自信硬闖就能過關？

林鄭自揭批准鄭若驊上任後，繼續兼職數月完成她私人執業的六宗仲裁，又是施以高壓手法，聲稱若不批准， 「甚或不利於香港銳意發展成為區域性法律服務和解決爭議中心這政策方向」——這麼重要，不是更應讓她完結私務才正式上任麼？常言「知錯能改」，但林鄭好強，恐怕不會接受教訓。
