綠色公民 – 冷氣機正名 余若薇

立法會環境事務委員會主席最近到訪一小學，參觀該校的環保教育及管理，其一名教師建議，冷氣機應改叫「熱能搬運器」，因為它只是將室內熱氣轉移到室外，過程中又產生更多溫室氣體，加劇地球暖化，正名可以警惕大家少用冷氣機，減低污染。

同樣的思維適用於現時停車熄匙所引起的爭論。說穿了，司機反對的最主要原因就是想將車內的熱氣轉移到路上的行人，讓自己在車廂內舒舒服服享受冷氣，但過程中我們又製造更加多的熱氣令街道升溫。惡性循環，何苦呢？

其實心靜自然涼。回想當年沒有冷氣機的日子，大家還是過了一年又一年？何不減慢一點腳步，鬆弛一下煩躁心情，返璞歸真？歐洲以及很多比香港更熱的地區都實行停車熄匙，天也沒有塌下來，凡事習慣了便不再是問題。
