綠色公民 – 天災？人禍！
近幾個月世界處處天災，中國西部持續下雨引發舟曲泥石流大災難、四川洪水成災、巴基斯坦水災哀鴻遍野、俄羅斯森林大火令有毒沙塵彌漫天空、香港大埔碗亦因暴雨山洪暴發導致人命損失。極端天氣陸續出現，重大人命傷亡事件迭次發生，第三世界和弱勢社群抗逆能力較低，往往是首當其衝的一群。
科學家和環保人士早已警告，全球暖化將會引致更多氣候災害發生，呼籲世人竭力扭轉暖化趨勢，防止氣候災難。無奈去年底的聯合國氣候變化大會未能制定應對氣候變化的新策略和融資安排，氣候變化的工作停滯不前。香港雖然響起節能減碳的呼聲，但按電力公司最新報告，今年上半年售電量不減反增了2.6%。政府必須盡快制訂應對氣候變化政策，加強節約能源、增加使用潔淨和再生能源。
