綠色公民 – 新世紀亞特蘭蒂斯 余若薇

立法會環境事務委員會主席應否在香港海域興建離岸風力發電場？環保人士意見分歧。有些人認為選址會破壞香港罕見自然美景，另一些人則指全球暖化迫在眉睫，香港不能不興建風電場減少依賴火力發電，而選址已是影響最小的地點。同時，蘇格蘭Shetland風電場計劃也碰上同樣爭議，令英國能源及氣候變化大臣文立彬十分頭痛。應對這種爭議，唯有透過環評制度，各方訴求透過既定程序小心慎思，然後拍板定奪。

雙方爭辯期間，我剛好遊經風電發展成熟的丹麥。最先看到的，不是哥本哈根的美人魚像，而是30多個風車群。巨大的白色扇葉，寧靜而優雅地旋轉，配襯四周風景，新與舊竟可以水乳交融並存。或許，這就是新世紀的亞特蘭蒂斯，憑藉創新科技，善用古老能源，令人類可持續發展。
