綠色公民 – 曾德成可學龍應台 余若薇

立法會環境事務委員會主席政務司司長唐英年現正檢討樹木管理工作，期望可為香港建立一套良好保育樹木的制度。外地值得參考的例子不少，台北市就是一個榜樣。

馬英九在任台北市長期間，委派時任文化局長的龍應台在台北市落實《樹木保護自治條例》，就受保護樹木設下定義，包括樹幹直徑逾0.8公尺、樹幹圍2.5公尺、樹高15公尺、樹齡達50年以上，以及任何蘊含特殊生態、歷史、文化、社區價值的樹木。條例又設立樹委會，訂明文化局負責有關受保護樹木的督導和協調等工作，並清楚列明其他部門的職責範疇。法律涵蓋私人土地上的樹木，可請工務局提供養護技術。發展土地要將施工範圍內受保護樹木的資料提交主管機構同意，才開展工程。

曾德成民政局局長早陣子到台灣，是否也可請教龍應台救救香港樹木？
