綠色公民 – 有機耕作
一批城市農夫在新界新市鎮開闢了一片土地進行有機耕作，成為石屎森林裏的城市綠洲，近日終於到了收成時，這批城市農夫收穫甚豐，更吸引記者跑來報道。
有機耕作概念引入香港已有廿多年，比較成功的運作模式，是將土地分成小片，再分租給那些於恆常日子中在市區內奔波勞碌，希望在假日可以回歸自然的城市人，讓他們嘗試有機耕作的樂趣。
有機耕作在食物供應市場上卻面對重重困難。原因包括蟲害重、成本高、售價貴、認證準則不一、欠缺全面的供應和鎖售網絡等等。一方面，只能希望市民環保意識日漸提高，改變只問價格不問環境的消費習慣來改善。另一方面，政府和商界必須透過制定統一認證標準，並增加周日有機農墟等方式，改善供應和鎖售網。
