綠色公民 – 汰舊換新
小巴日夜在街上行走，是其中一個主要空氣污染源頭。最佳的解決方法是汰舊換新，但換新車要額外一筆費用。早前政府撥款32億元資助舊車換新車，補貼只及新車車價12至18%。業界冷對，最終只用了5.76億元。
最新的歐盟V型柴油小巴都按20座位設計，但現時必須將原裝的4個座位改裝為行李架，才符合最多載客16人的小巴法例。小巴營辦商呼籲政府放?限制，容許20座位小巴。第一，新車減少排放。第二，繁忙路線每車多載4人可縮短乘客輪候時間。第三，同一缸油多載乘客亦較環保。第四，營辦商承諾若加車位就3年不加價，加快裝安全帶，提供長者優惠，毋須納稅人出半分錢。港大民調顯示，此建議獲得83%市民支持。運輸署卻因其他運輸持分者反對而大潑冷水，漠視大眾福祉。
