綠色公民 – 無聲瘟疫 余若薇

達理教授重臨香港，上周專誠再到立法會為改善空氣質素發出良心呼籲。他指出香港空氣污染已較世組織標準高出125﹪，香港空氣質素遠低於健康水平。就如一場無聲瘟疫，靜靜地奪去一個又一個香港人的性命，縮短我們的人均壽命。 達理教授指出塔門空氣監察站，因沒有汽車污染而錄得低氮化物數據，反映香港市區氮化物數據高，乃香港路邊空氣污染，而非珠江三角洲吹過來的北風所致。請政府不要推卸責任。 香港汽車密度高，依然有不少陳舊的歐盟前期商業車輛，巴士又要18年才換，高密度的高樓大廈造成街谷效應令污染空氣更難吹散。政府有責任盡快更新已沿用超過廿年的空氣質素指標，設立低排放區，限制高污染車輛駛入，否則這場無聲瘟疫只會繼續蔓延。
