綠色公民 – 熄燈冬至 與綠色聖誕 余若薇

今天是冬至，過幾天就是聖誕節，普天同慶的日子，除了大吃大喝，盡情狂歡外，還可以做甚麼？

日本冬至夏至都有熄燈活動，透過一小時的熄燈儀式，讓參與者在漆黑中反省文明的缺失，過度消費後所帶來的後遺症，以及都市人被忙碌生活淘空的心靈。

中國人冬大過年，強調節日家庭團圓的意義。西方的聖誕節同樣有家庭團聚之意，於是衍生大量聖誕卡、聖誕禮物和聖誕運輸的需求，對地球環境帶來不少負擔。近年環保意識逐漸提高，各種各樣綠色聖誕的應節方法應運而生，消費者大可仔細了解不同綠色消費品。不過，送卡送禮都只是引子，任何環保禮品都不及向朋友說一聲真誠的祝福，或給至親一個誠懇的擁抱。祝願大家冬至團圓，快樂聖誕！
