綠色公民 – 獼猴也入學
天時暑熱，馬騮山的獼猴也跳進鄰近學校的泳池避暑。日本長野縣志賀高源地獄谷野猿公苑也有會浸溫泉取暖的雪猴，據說還會蓋一層雪在頭頂降溫。猴子與人類是最相似的動物，自然也會以水來應對天氣變化。事件也反映城市與郊野的距離日漸縮窄，近年愈來愈多野猴、野豬「大鬧」都市。馬騮山出現猴滿之患，山野食物不足，就會闖進民居覓食。為了控制獼猴的數量，兩三年前漁護署開始野猴避孕及絕育計劃，每年春季捕捉獼猴，然後向雌猴注射避孕針，藥效可維持3至5年，或向雄猴注射化學品永久堵塞輸精管，達致絕育效果。自計劃實施以來，獼猴數目已有輕微下降，但市民亦需配合，不要隨便餵飼野生動物，以免帶來意想不到的後果。
