綠色公民 – 踏單車上班 余若薇

21歲補習老師每天踏單車一個小時由大埔到油麻地上班，吸引電視台採訪報道。我亦認識一名每天騎單車到中環上班的律師，她經常因停泊單車與交通警發生摩擦，現在攜帶可以摺疊的單車到辦公室，希望減少泊單車煩惱。

單車作為主要交通工具，在荷蘭早已是日常生活一部分，里昂、巴黎和倫敦等大城市近年更推出電子化的單車租賃系統，市民可從一處取車到另一處還車，租用單車代替駕駛汽車。專家預言未來，電動汽車可以像超市的手推車般摺疊輕便，市民可以像單車般租用，取代私家車。上月到東京，看到家庭主婦載孩子踏單車，優哉悠哉在繁忙街道穿插。為何香港不考慮多闢單車徑？例如維港兩岸，又或香港仔、田灣和鴨洲等舊區，以單車徑連接，建設綠色社區。
