綠色公民 – 阿茂整餅式環保 余若薇

立法會環境事務委員會主席據報，政府計劃將幾部電動汽車，送到南丫島、坪洲和長洲等離島，讓離島警隊可以駕着電動車在島上巡邏，又盛讚電動車「零排放」很環保。問題來了，警察在離島執勤一直靠單車代步，這已是零污染、環保，快捷又符合鄉郊環境的巡邏方式。電動車其實並非「零排放」，因電力來源仍然依靠本地發電廠燃燒化石燃料，電池的棄置也會產生廢物問題。

電動車相對於汽油車而言，是比較環保的選擇，如果將電動車放在市區或新市鎮，有助減輕對環境的負擔。若是放在本來無車之地，則是倒退和加重污染的做法。另外，南丫島和坪洲等離島不少是羊腸小徑，電動車在很多地方都不能到達，效用比單車更低。

若以離島電動車代替單車，實屬阿茂整餅式環保！
