綠色公民 – 隔音屏障的商機 余若薇

《財經透視》報道，過去十年隔音屏障為工程界帶來近20億元的生意額。有工程公司更計劃進軍內地，拓展新市場。隔音屏障之所以成為一門綠色生意，全賴政府訂下噪音標準，不少基建為了遵守法定噪音標準必須設置隔音屏障，設計亦五花八門，價錢要平兼功效要高。相對於動輒數十億、數百億元的基建工程，隔音屏障的金額或許是小巫見大巫，但仍是有發展潛力的綠色產業。對於日夜受噪音滋擾的居民來說，更是功德無量的利民之舉，是雙贏德政。可惜，政府態度不夠積極。柴灣道樂翠台居民自1985年入伙後一直飽受噪音滋擾，政府雖在2000年承諾會設置隔音屏障，但工程計劃拖延11年，仍停留在草擬階段。居民固然受害了26年，也窒礙綠色產業發展。
