綠色公民 – 鸚鵡阿Joe訪余辦
上星期，位處六樓的議員辦公室突然傳來一陣「啪啪啪」怪聲。轉身一看，原來是政府山常客──黑嘴白身頭頂有一條金黃羽毛的大白葵鸚鵡，同事見牠對花旗銀行大廈的玻璃幕牆照鏡拍翼顧盼自得，甚為喜歡，更給牠起了名字叫阿Joe。阿Joe慣常的落腳點在炮台里一帶樹林，忙碌於中環穿梭的上班一族，路經該處時舉頭一望，多會看到牠的蹤影。
天曉得牠從哪裏來，只知道大白葵鸚鵡屬《保護瀕危動植物物種條例》附錄二的品種，進出口必須向政府申請，野生的十分罕見。幸好中環這片石屎森林，還有炮台里這片小小的城市樹林，才能令阿Joe和牠的鄰居赤腹松鼠等有棲息之所。雖然政府說會保留政府山幾幢舊建築，但最好還是整片區域保育起來，讓歷史氛圍、物種生境也可一併保存。
