血橙
二三月歐洲冬盡，是血橙季節，橙肉深紅如血，買來試製「反扣血橙蛋糕」，效果艷麗非常。看着看着，怒從心上起。
四月天，暮春時節，家門附近報春花盛開，指甲花香飄滿清晨空氣，不禁悲從中來。
我城本是一個美麗地方，到處都是待人欣賞的風景人情故事。為何愛護香港的人，大半生勞瘁，餘日無多，卻是日日走過匆匆一瞥，都是滿眼悲涼，塞滿胸臆的都是為如何阻擋當權者急不及待毁壞我城根基的焦慮？「一地兩檢」暗渡陳倉，「逃犯條例」明修棧道；「暴動」、「DQ」、「取締」未了，又有「公眾妨擾」，務求趕盡殺絕，顛覆法治，以刑事檢控為利器，令所有抗爭者及一切支持者從此噤若寒蟬。公民社會及國際的關注完全無着力處，因為特首高官一心只在如何令中央滿意。
為什麼在短短幾年間，香港已變得比殖民地時代更像殖民地？只因北京決定香港民主路絕，從此中央是特首高官的唯一主人，執行中央命令是唯一使命。殖民地時代，港督卸任即離港，就是平民；政府官員過去從港府高職退下來就是普通市民，拿着退休金安享晚年，但近來制度已逐漸敗壞。今天，據說六十歲也只是中年，特區官職不過是地方官、是踏腳石，若中央滿意，退休後就有機會再上層樓，更光宗耀祖。香港是禮品庫，香港人是取悅天心的祭品，是芻狗，苟活於短暫的鳥語花香、自由空氣。
