賀龍
2007 年因公民黨要在年宵花市擺檔而學書法，為市民寫揮春。從豬、鼠、牛、虎、兔，到龍年，可謂漸入佳境。試想想， 「鼠」字多難寫，有關老鼠的揮春更加少之又少。今年有關龍的賀詞真是多不勝數；從傳統龍馬精神、飛躍龍門、龍精虎猛、金龍獻瑞、龍騰虎躍、猛龍過江、行運一條龍，到早生龍子，一口氣寫了30多款， 連生意興隆也應節改為生意興「龍」。
早幾年落區寫揮春，大風、細雨、路斜、枱搖都影響效果，近年已逐一克服，唯獨不能習慣是路邊廢氣，一面寫一面「吸塵」，實在難頂。難得市民不怕辛苦，熱情地在街頭排隊守候，自當跨越環境挑戰，與眾同樂。龍年將至，也是曾蔭權任內的最後半年，可惜他未能兌現承諾，在任內更新空氣質素指標，推到明年才立法，再2 年才落實。
提到龍，自然想到台灣大選的一番龍爭虎鬥。4 年前民進黨受陳水扁貪腐案影響，民望低沉，短短幾年之間，民進黨在蔡英文領導下重新振作，以「小英旋風」挑戰尋求連任的馬英九，其間蔡英文陣營發動「三隻小豬」小額籌款，成功募捐2 億台幣。最後雖然藍營以80 萬票擊敗綠營，但雙方差距不過是百分之六，可謂棋逢敵手。民進黨的韌力令人刮目相看，蔡英文更是雖敗猶榮。台灣此次大選舉，藍綠陣營自持克制，可算是一洗過去混亂的負面形象，給人耳目一新的感覺。
提到豬， 便令人想起香港的「豬狼爭」。其實唐英年肖龍，今年運程本應不錯，不過他的「豬」形象已深入民心，今年應節的對聯，尤其是經過台灣大選，可用「我們要投龍虎鬥， 無奈只看豬狼爭」。
