防暴警言
說明：「暴」是指「暴政」；「警」是指「警惕」。本文主旨是為防暴政來臨，提供自我警惕的金句，不是防暴警察透露心聲。
吾友李志喜有一書買數本的奢侈習慣， 廣施濟眾， 最近送我一冊Timothy Snyder 的小書OnTyranny ——20 世紀關於暴政的20 個教訓。及時雨，應推廣，卻原來區家麟去年早在他的博客介紹，但光陰若如斯寶貴，不如再精選、再濃縮如下，以便製成卡片，隨身攜帶：
①不要預先服從：別觀摩上意，未有旨，已先自動奉行，自我審查。
②捍衛制度：不要禮崩樂壞，由捍衛你最切身關注的機構制度做起。
③提防一黨專政：以踴躍投票、參選，壯大多黨政治。
④毋忘專業道德：在強權面前，以專業說不。
⑤挺身而出：不要等別人先站起來。
⑥相信有真相：放棄事實根據，等於放棄自由，因為這是認同聲大夾惡者有權橫行。
⑦深究：自己判斷真偽，就不會任人擺佈。
⑧處變不驚：暴政的慣技是靠嚇，例如祭出「治亂世用重典」，稱有必要推倒人權。
⑨勇敢面對：我們是凡人，不是英雄勇士，然而要盡量勇敢，因為如果沒有人願意為自由而死，所有人必會在暴政下滅亡。
