預算案大失預算，有市民叫財政司司長曾俊華下台，他不愁寂寞，英皇書院同學會也刊登全版廣告，叫無誠信的教育局局長孫明揚下台。

孫公去年呼籲各校中一減班，多番強調是「自願」參加，但當官立學校英皇書院學校管理委員會信以為真地投票決定是否減班時，教育局馬上制止，並宣布該校減班。孫公還理直地壯地說﹕「當然係自願減班」，「不可能事事表決」，「大家意見咁上下，總要有人背後決定」。

財爺誠信亦掃地，原先堅稱「派錢退稅會刺激通脹」、「預算案經深思熟慮所以無微調空間」云云，一星期後拋諸腦後，180度轉變，大幅度修改預算案，向18歲以上本港永久居民人人派6,000元，另退稅最高6,000元。

不過，講到「打倒昨日的我」的最佳示範，非中央政策組首席顧問劉兆佳莫屬，孫公和財爺都要甘拜下風。
