上周五，立法會主席曾鈺成會晤包括在我內的10名泛民議員，討論他可能辭去主席一職以便投票支持政府的2012政改方案。會上，各人同意對外互不引述談話內容。

當天下午，傳媒打電話向我查詢，說有人爆料，曾主席在會面中披露特首曾蔭權曾經游說他就政改方案投票，要求我證實及評論，我說除非曾主席同意解除保密約定，否則我不便透露談話內容。

翌日，報章引述參與會議的李卓人力證特首不單游說曾主席投票撐政府，甚至說曾主席「不用辭職都可投票」。

特首辦公室發表聲明，嚴詞否定特首游說曾主席的「傳聞」﹕「行政長官從來沒有與曾鈺成主席就他政改方案的投票取向作任何的接觸或討論。」事件變成羅生門，究竟誰在說真話？

假如我是曾主席，讓我說得明白點，我是公認「數口精」的聰明人，從政多年，說話不會白說，上月底我親口在李鵬飛訪問節目中透露有官員游說我辭職投票。當時我說﹕「有政府官員跟我討論這問題時，我說要辭職，他說不緊要，辭職找第二個做，投票緊要。」你猜我為何要說這番惹火言論？你猜這官員是誰？誰有資格游說我曾主席？

假如我是曾主席，實在不想辭去主席一職，但卻有責任「保皇」，倘若政改方案只欠我一票才可通過，你猜我會如何曲線告訴特首不要打我主席這一票的主意？最好公眾多一些討論要求我保持立法會主席不偏不倚不投票的優良傳統，希望曾特首收到!
