離晒大譜﹗
離晒大譜！Such utter nonsense！ 「如此極度的無厘頭！」
離譜的原意，是偏離了譜子，直譯可以是out of tune、off-key，有因為「走音」而「不咬弦」的意思。看以下例句：Your proposal is out of tune with public opinion. 你的建議偏離民意。His idea is off-key = His idea is out of step with what is considered normal or appropriate. 他的點子離了譜。
廣東話的離譜，若是語帶溫柔的「好離譜啫」，通常等於「好過分喎」，英文可說︰
That is just too much. 這太過分了。
That is rather out of line. 這「過了界」。
如果講的離譜， 主旨是表達「咁都得？」可說︰
That’s most extraordinary! 極度不尋常！
That’s damned curious! 實在太古怪！
That’s quite incredible! 真係難以置信！
That’s so incredulous! 離譜！直情唔信！
上面的incredible 與incredulous， 「字形」有點相似，表面意思好似都差不多，但用起來就有實質分別：That’s incredible! That’s hard to believe!
這事難以置信！往往亦有That’s amazing!
亦即嘖積稱奇之意。像That incredible fire-eater，那個「神奇」的吞火人。
而incredulous， 「直情唔信」，就直接包含離譜之意了：
She was incredulous at his behaviour. 這句話，字面是「她不相信他的行為」，實在的意思是「他的行為離譜得令她O嘴」。
要把「離晒大譜」用做標籤，受標籤的對象，不管是人、物、事，純粹發泄一下，通常都可用英文「垃圾」一字以蔽之：
這個人離晒大譜- This person is so full of rubbish.這件事離晒大譜- What a trashy business.這款設計離晒大譜- The design issimply crappy.
