公民黨聯同購買雷曼相關產品的客戶與中信嘉華銀行會面結果發布

公民黨立法會議員余若薇聯同購買雷曼相關產品的客戶，與中信嘉華銀行高層會面，銀行承諾若證實分行職員推銷手法違規，會以對客戶公平為原則負上責任，向客戶賠償是其中一個考慮方案。

公民黨要求銀行向客戶提供內部銷售的指引，以便客戶理解是否涉及違規情況，銀行代表同意於兩星期內提供有關文件。

截至昨天為止，中信嘉華銀行共接獲大約100宗投訴個案，現正積極處理，代表承諾在接獲投訴後30日內向客戶提供答覆。

就政府要求銀行回購客戶債券的建議，銀行代表表示正在研究當中，有關決定將於10月17日向外界公布。就與雷曼相關的其他投資產品處理方法，銀行代表則將於兩星期後提供進度報告。

銀行代表亦表示客戶可隨時要求分行職員，查閱其與雷曼有關債券的抵押品資料，並承諾在兩星期內將有關資料寄回客戶。至於銀行旗下受雷曼信貸事件所影響的客戶及金額數目，銀行代表則拒絕提供。

公民黨於兩星期後將再聯同購買雷曼相關產品的客戶，與中信嘉華銀行代表再次會面。
