「兩蚊的止痛劑」： 公民黨就林鄭月娥十項民生優惠措施的回應

特首林鄭月娥今日公布十項紓民解困的措施，聲言要支援弱勢社群，並在制度上作出改革，改善民生。公民黨黨魁楊岳橋在回應有關措施，認為從時機上而言，今次林鄭推出措施只為「補鑊」，試圖為過去七個月所闖下的大禍收買人心；而公民黨立法會議員郭家麒形容，十項措施只是「兩蚊(兩元)的止痛劑」，根本不能回應當前香港社會的五大訴求，更不能解決眼前的社會危機。
楊岳橋指出，今次推出的十項措施，改動之大猶如特首宣布競選連任的政綱。這些措施偏偏不在施政報告時公布，也不待至即將推出的財政預算案時公布，而選擇這個時機，有明顯的「補鑊」之意。楊岳橋批評，這些政策推出有點急就章，部分明顯未獲有商界共識，有些則與政府之前的政策有矛盾，更令人相信政府是為了收買人心才推出這些政策。
郭家麒補充，這些措施只是「賣口乖」﹑「掩眼法」，為了轉移公眾視線。他指出，政策前後矛盾，如去年才削收緊了長者綜援的合資格年齡，現在卻又放寛長者生活津貼的年紀，令人感到政府的長者照顧政策非常混亂。郭家麒強調，政府一定要回應五大訴求，成立獨立調查委員會，才能解決現時的社會危機。
