「和平佔中」街頭論壇

公民黨今天(二十九日)於旺角行人專用區舉辦了「佔領中環」街頭論壇，講者包括佔中發起人朱耀明牧師、資深傳媒人程翔、立法會議員毛孟靜及梁國雄，雖然現場下著毛毛細雨，論壇仍有多名市民參與，亦有市民發言表明支持佔中。

朱牧師表示自己和很多香港人一樣，爭取民主已經三十年，希望中央和特區政府讓香港有真普選，並盡快進行政改諮詢。他亦帶備佔中意向書，邀請市民即場簽署或帶回家中詳細考慮，希望大家風雨同路。

毛孟靜在論壇上宣佈自己經過四個月的深思熟慮後，決定參與佔領中環，並指責有言論說佔中可能令中央出動解放軍是試圖恫嚇香港人，旨在打壓佔中人數。程翔則指出中央現時有一股「極左思潮」，新政府上台不久便提出「七不講」及對網上言論進一步收緊，認為這股思潮不利香港民主政制的發展。
