「為牠們說話 拯救流浪貓狗」街頭論壇：
尊重動物生存權

公民黨今天舉辦「為牠們說話 拯救流浪貓狗」的街頭論壇，由九龍西支部主席毛孟靜主持，出席嘉賓包括動物地球總幹事黃繼仁先生、愛護動物協會社區狗隻計劃負責人柯慧賢小姐、動物話語創辦人Ms. Janice Jenson及動物友善政策關注小組秘書長梁錦嫺小姐。

各嘉賓就「社區動物絕育放回計劃(TNVR)」的推行及實施困難發表意見。黃繼仁表示大部份市民對貓狗絕育及防疫(打針)並不反對，但就「放回」卻有保留。柯慧賢亦表示愛護動物協會一直遊說漁農署增加資源，推廣保護動物的訊息。梁錦嫺認為TNVR能有效減少流浪猫狗對居民所做成的滋擾。Janice則認為推廣TNVR可以由教育做起。最後，毛孟靜認為一個文明社會除了尊重人權外，亦需要尊重動物的生存權。
