經濟市道差  電費年年加
反對電費加價

立法會經濟發展事務委員會今天討論兩間電力公司的電費加幅。公民黨對於兩電的加幅感到失望。兩電在巨額營利下仍然申請加價，只會加重小市民及商戶負擔。特別對於中電的加幅高於通脹感到遺憾，認為加幅不合理，並強烈要求政府能夠照顧民生，促請政府削減兩電建議的加幅。

公民黨立法會議員湯家驊在會議期間表示，對兩電加價的理據缺乏透明度及數據不全特別感到不安。湯家驊批評，兩電以商業秘密為由，拒絕公布相關的詳盡數據，令披露資料欠缺透明度，大大削弱議會監察兩電的功能。湯家驊亦已立即要求主席盡快召開特別會議，及向兩電要求提供更完整的數據，讓議員有更多機會質詢兩電加價的理據。
