「橙」剷走功能組別

公民黨於3月8日婦女節，舉辦「民主許願樹 – 『橙』剷走功能組別」暨義賣籌款活動。出席嘉賓將民主心願寫在「橙」咭，然後掛在民主許願樹上。民間策發會召集人陳方安生女士寫上「有真普選 一人一票」的心願， 公民黨黨魁余若薇因應今日是婦女節，祈望精打細算的婦女們，最緊要留意功能組別不公義的數據，而公民黨中西區區議員陳淑莊則希望「我要真普選！剷走功能組別」。市民的心願除了要「一人一票」和「盡快有普選」外，亦有祝「願有一個公平、公正、公開，有公義的社會」、「一人一票選香港特首」等。

現場義賣物品包括：民主有機(米)、民主勿封(蜜糖)、民主開花(花茶+蜜糖)、剷走功能組別(橙)等，義工並向市民送贈富60年代特色的塑膠花，緬懷當年婦女於家中穿膠花幫補家計的日子，及那個年代只要大家肯努力，就可循社會階梯向上爬的香港精神。希望市民支持盡早廢除功能組別，推行真普選，建立公平的社會。
