五區公投運動站在人民的一方 不會被孤立

中央政策組首席顧問劉兆佳今日(27/4)在《有線電視》新聞台訪問中說﹕「不必看投票率，已可斷定這場公投失敗」，推動公投的人「完全錯誤判斷政治形勢，反而陷於相當孤立的境地」。公民黨黨魁余若薇有以下回應。

余若薇說﹕「公民黨與社民連沒有錯估形勢。政府推出的政改方案比05年方案更為退倒，引證最初兩黨不指望政府有誠意推動真普選的分析是對的。」

「兩黨沒有被孤立，因為我們站在人民的一方；面對一個執迷不悟地漠視民意的政權，只有靠人民力量才可能擺脫現時政制的困局，因此兩黨推動五區公投運動，給全港330萬選民一人一票的機會，表達支持『盡快實現真普選，廢除功能組別』，以行動回應政府與建制派落荒而逃的杯葛行徑。」

余若薇反問政府﹕「5月16日要有多少人出來投票，政府才會認真聆聽和尊重香港人的民主訴求？」
