交通被壟斷 市民負擔重 抗議新鴻基過橋抽板

珀麗灣的對外交通服務營辦商，是珀麗灣發展商旗下的公司，亦是現時珀麗灣運輸服務的單一提供者。然而，該公司現時營辦的四條屋邨巴士路線及兩條渡輪航線，票價均極高，更是連年加價，完全無視居民的負擔。如珀麗灣至荃灣碼頭的渡輪，在2005年的票價為每程3元，至今已加至10元，居民的優惠價更只為9.8元，加幅至今超過300%；而來往珀麗灣至葵芳的巴士，亦由2005年的4.5元一程(居民3元)，加價至現時10元一程(居民7.9)，加幅亦超過200%。

而更令居民氣憤的是，珀麗灣在2002年底第一期入伙，至去年最後一期完成開售，珀麗灣客運有限公司便巧合地打算在今年年底牌照屆滿時，取消馬灣至荃灣的渡輪服務，是否有過橋抽板之嫌？

為此，公民黨今天到新鴻基的總部，抗議發展商過橋抽板。並提出以下訴求：

1. 立即調低往來珀麗灣的交通票價；
2. 反對取消來往珀麗灣至荃灣的渡輪服務；
3. 回應居民需要，確保珀麗灣居民有足夠的交通設施往來市區。
