余若薇：特區政府需確保今次選舉的一切安排與以往的無異，不會削弱參選人及選民的公民權利。

五區公投運動總發言人余若薇指出，今早在立法會財委會特別會議中，有議員透露有鄉事人士拒絕借出學校作為5月16日投票站。余若薇認為，任何人都無權剝奪其他人的投票權，而為人師表的責任是教導學生尊重和珍惜公民權利包括投票權，校方不應該因為政治取態，而拒絕借出場地作投票站，杯葛選舉，給學生立下壞榜樣。

余若薇表示，政府與社會各界共同維持選舉的公正性，不僅是考慮到參選人的利益，而是選民同樣有權獲得清楚的選舉資訊，以及方便的投票地點。

余若薇認為，先有政府高層及建制派暗示杯葛投票，後有政府建議免拆街板，公眾被誤導這些杯葛行為是正當的，依樣葫蘆，參與破壞選舉的公平公正原則，對香港的民主發展荼毒深遠。

余若薇促請特區政府履行職責，確保今次選舉的一切安排與以往的無異，不會削弱參選人及選民的公民權利。
